The goal of your first dental appointment is to assess your dental health and create a custom oral healthcare plan. It includes an examination and review of your treatment options. Usually, treatment can be done or started the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.

At the end of your visit, we provide you with detailed at-home aftercare instructions. We give you all of the information you need to ensure your comfort and safety after your dental procedure. For examples of home care instructions, head to this page.

After your dental appointment, our dedicated team reaches out to make sure you had an enjoyable experience. We also share a link for you to provide feedback. At that time, we’ll also follow up about any additional necessary treatments we discussed.

We also make it quick and easy to pay for your treatment. We collect payment at the time of service, unless we previously arranged monthly payments

We Welcome Dental Insurance

We know how important dental insurance is for dental care accessibility and affordability. We’re happy to accept many dental insurance plans here at Cornerstone Family Dentistry. Some of the providers we accept include: Delta Dental, Guardian, Humana, Metlife, Cigna Dental, Aetna, Careington, Anthem, Team Care, BC/BS, Teamsters, Health Resources.

Payments

Payment Options & Financial Policy

Dental insurance may not cover every part of every treatment you need. In addition, we know not everyone has dental coverage. But we make it easy and stress-free to pay for your dental care. At Cornerstone Family Dentistry, we accept several payment methods including:

Unless you opt for a financing plan, we take payment at the time of service. Note that we do offer monthly payment plans, but we must arrange it before your procedure! We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility.
