Meet Our Team

Julie is a prized member of our team and is extremely committed to the dental profession. She joined Cornerstone Family Dentistry in 1980 after completing the Dental Assisting program at Aristotle College.

Julie has been in the dental field for over 30 years and has contributed to just about every aspect of dentistry, from assisting to consulting. She has the flexibility, personality, and knowledge to make your dental experience pleasant.

Native to Indiana, Julie and her family currently reside in Indianapolis. She is a proud mom of a beautiful daughter, Christina, who enjoys tennis as much as Julie. When not in the tennis stands or traveling, Julie is dressed in blue, cheering on the Indianapolis Colts.

Rachel graduated from Kaplan College in 2011 as a certified dental assistant; however, she quickly moved to the front office, learning all she could of the business aspect of dentistry. She joined Cornerstone Family Dentistry in 2017 and enthusiastically works to help all patients overcome any obstacles that may prevent them from getting the treatment they need and deserve. She assists in explaining and reviewing treatment and finances with patients. Rachel will help coordinate and explain any concerns about insurance issues. From getting you scheduled, to knowing all your insurance benefits, to coming up with a treatment plan that works for you, Rachel works hard behind the scenes to make sure your visit to the dentist goes smoothly.

Outside of work, Rachel loves to spend time with her daughter Kaydence and dog Buddy. She enjoys spending time reading and spending time outside in nature, taking walks, gardening, camping, and spending as much time with her family as possible.

Karen graduated from IU School of Dentistry in 1987 and has been with Cornerstone Family Dentistry since 2001. What she enjoys most about being part of Cornerstone Family Dentistry is the constant interaction with our patients and being able to provide the most up-to-date care possible. As a dental hygienist, her goal is to treat every patient as an individual and to seek success in their appropriate treatment.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband Troy, her 3 children, her grandson, and her two dogs. Karen and her family spend a lot of time four-wheeling together, as well as Karen being an avid moviegoer with her youngest child, Tyler.

Gia has over 20 years of experience as an expanded functions dental assistant and has been with Cornerstone Family Dentistry since 2024. She enjoys getting to know each patient and providing a personal touch with each patient she encounters.

Throughout her career, she has taught dental assisting classes to aspiring dental professionals.

Gia is a dog enthusiast and business entrepreneur. Outside of the office, she is the owner of a dog training company and clothing boutique.

Emily graduated from Ivy Tech State College in Lafayette, Indiana, in 2001 as a dental assistant, eventually transitioning to the front office. Now in her front office capacity, she enjoys supporting patients and keeping the office running smoothly. Emily spent 23 years working in one office with the same doctors until they retired in 2024, and that is when she joined Cornerstone Family Dentistry. She is excited to be a part of the team under Dr. Sigg’s leadership.

Emily has been married for 23 years and has one daughter and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, boating at the lake, cheering on the Pacers, and attending concerts.

Sharon is a dedicated and passionate dental hygienist who has been practicing since 2020 and has been with Cornerstone Family Dentistry since 2025. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree, she pursued her associate’s degree in dental hygiene, setting the foundation for a successful career in oral healthcare.

Originally from the northwest side of Chicago, Sharon made the move to Indiana in 2022, where she continues to help patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. With a deep commitment to patient care, she focuses on creating a comfortable and educational environment while providing preventative care.

When Sharon is not working, she likes to spend quality time with her family and friends. Sharon is a huge foodie and loves to try different cuisines.
